Project Overview:

 

This contract primarily concerned refurbishment works to the Second Severn Crossing bridge. The strengthening of existing mono rail running the full length of the crossing involved replacement of some 2000 mid-span brackets and cleats. In addition the existing main span gantry and RAT (rapid access train) were removed by barge, refurbished at the works and re-fitted.
